yes, it's like an annual event reorganizing my backup data which has never missed creating new problems. so at this point, it has been more than an hour just trying to import iphoto 11 library to aperture 3.0 over wifi, and it hasn't even started transferring yet. it's about 96 gig library, photo is not the only library i need to move, there are 6 more hard disks waiting to be cleaned up, and you get the idea.
아이포토 라이브러리가 96기가에 육박하는데, 와이파이로 어퍼처에 임포트 걸었더니 한 시간 째 시작조차 안하고 있다. 연중행사인 백업의 전설은 늘 이렇게 시작된다. 아놔.

sometimes i have very strong principles about things i like. for example, when i see any space, i always think about 3 points - floor/wall materials, height of ceiling, and lighting. i guess it has been formed for a long time with my experience and became a solid principle at some point. here are another 3 things when it comes to my work space - huge wooden table, huge 30 inch dual screens with both mac and windows, and finally old mechanical keyboard with trackball. yeah, it's my precious old gs keyboard. :-)
관찰과 몰입을 오래하다보면 가끔 근본을 관통하는 인사이트를 얻는 경우가 있다. (뭐 혹은 취향이 굳거나. -_-;) 난 공간을 볼 때 마다 천장 높이, 조명, 바닥과 벽의 재질을 가장 중요하게 보는데, 비슷한 맥락에서 내 업무공간에 잴 중요한 요소 세 개는 책상, 스크린, 입력장치이다. 책상은 반드시 커다란 나무 테이블이어야 하고, 윈도우/맥으로 각각 30인치 듀얼스크린, 그리고 기계식 키보드와 트랙볼이 있어야 한다. 다시 월급쟁이 하다보니 책상은 쵸이스가 없어졌고, 나머지는 개인장비 들고 들어가서 그럭저럭 맞춰냈는데, 맥을 편하게 쓰는데 까지는 시간이 좀 걸렸다. 어이없는 생쑈도 좀 있었지만, 어쨌든 이젠 맥북프로에 알아서 SSD까지 달아주는 고마운 회사다. 핫!
